I've been dreaming of these shoes for a couple of years. I was concerned about buying them without having tried them first. I normally wear a size 7 in flats or 8 in runners (Nike shoes etc) and so I decided to order the 7 1/2. I live all the way in Australia and I was pleasantly surprised when the parcel arrived within 10days, 5 days ahead of the estimated date of delivery. I've been really worried about how the boots would fit me but they slipped on fine (no problems with the instep), even though my calves are pretty big (I'm normally around size 12-14) and I've had some problem in the past with being unable to zip up boots. These shoes remind me of gumboots. They are surprisingly light and comfortable even without socks, but it can also accommodate thick socks comfortably. I highly recommend this product. I bought it in gaucho brown and am now considering getting the black one also :)

Bulgaria Orphans I ordered these for me and my daughter. We both ordered true to size. Hers fit but for some reason mine are too big. Really big. I'm upset b/c I love them, but I need to return them. I can't exchange them b/c I bought them through and they do not offer exchange, only refund. I have to pay to return and I would need to order another pair on my own. I just wish there was a better way to return. My daughter loves hers and she said they are very comfortable.

Women Lie Men Lie I Bought these , and they are tiny . I am usually a size 9 or 10 and I would guess their " US size 10 " is really like a narrow 8 or maybe 9 . Not only is the foot small , the calf is for someone with an 8 or 10 inch diameter calf . I am so bummed because I really love these boots . So beware if you are going to give them a try , order at least one size bigger and if your foot is not super narrow I would go two sizes bigger .
